A fully renovated home steps from the beach.
Cobourg is a beautiful historic town on Lake Ontario. Our home is centrally located close to shops, banks, grocery stores, and parks. We are a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach and harbour, where there are also playgrounds and a public pool. You can enjoy small town life by relaxing on the deck in our garden, visiting the farmers market, or hiking the area's forest trails. Cobourg is located close to the main highway (401) for trips to bigger attractions, such as Toronto (1 hour away) or historic Kingston (90 minutes by car). With a longer drive you can enjoy Ottawa (Canada's capital - about 4 hours drive) or Niagara Falls (about 3 hours). There is also a train station in Cobourg.
Our home is a one and half story house that has been completely renovated, with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a main floor powder room, gas fireplace, gas BBQ, bikes and other sports equipment, musical instruments (Piano, guitar, ukes), wireless Internet, T.V., XBox and Wii. We are non-smokers and would ask you to please not smoke in the house. Our home is in the centre of Cobourg.
Master bedroom with ensuite has a double bed and a fold-out futon couch.
One other bedroom with a double bed.
Two bedrooms have single beds.
Here is a link to a video of our renovation from a few years back.
From mess to a cozy home.

Cobourg is a small town and our house is walking distance to a large sandy beach, shops, and parks. There are many events that take place over the spring and summer months, see: http://www.cobourgtourism.ca/. The beach is especially great for small children - it is sandy and shallow near the shore. There are also opportunities to to rent a canoe or paddle board.
