A Victorian semi-detached family home in a nice suburb of London.
We live in West Norwood - a nice suburb of London. It is an 8 minute walk down the hill to the train station which takes around 20 minutes into Central London. We are well-served by buses too. The local area has everything you could need - shops, cafes, bars etc. There's a leisure centre for swimming and we have a PictureHouse cinema too.
Our house is a large Victorian semi-detached property with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 of which are en-suite). We have done a lot of work on it over the last few years and are really pleased to have such a large, light and airy property. There is a back garden that you can access from the large kitchen and all the mod cons that you will need - unlimited wifi, central heating, washing machine and tumble drier etc.
There are 3 rooms with double beds and the other 2 rooms have Ikea daybeds that quickly and easily turn from singles to doubles. In total, the house can comfortably sleep 10.
We can also provide a travel cot with a proper mattress, high chair, stairgate and bed guard etc if you need these.

We had a lovely few days in the Cotswolds. The house was well-equipped and in a great location for exploring Bath and Castle Combe etc. Good communication with our exchange partners and great info and instructions available to us in the house.
We planned a non-simultaneous exchange and so the family stayed in our home whilst we were away on a family holiday in Japan. However, we couldn't commit to dates for our trip to Canada for summer 2024 and so we have 'released' the family from any commitment to have us stay at their place. And so we can't comment on their home and its suitability for an exchange. We had good communication together throughout the process and would consider exchanging again in the future.
We had a wonderful stay in Vienna. The house was fabulous and really well located close to the station and the centre of Melk. The pool in the garden was a real treat and we didn't use the sauna but it looked amazing too. We would highly recommend this home for an exchange. Great communication from the owners too.

Stewart is a film producer and Kate is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. We have 3 children who are all now at secondary school and University. We enjoy living in London and a busy city life but we also enjoy family time at home. We have two cats - you can read more about them below.
We moved into our house around 10 years ago and have made a lot of changes to it. Most recently we had the loft converted into another bedroom and bathroom and the house has been completely redecorated and has had new carpets upstairs and wooden floors downstairs. We have a newly refitted kitchen with lots of space (the table can extend to seat 10) and everything you'll need.
