Great family Home in Amsterdam
We have a lovely family home (about 135m2) in the middle of Amsterdam-North right next to Park and the bus stop. It is a four bedroom house with 2 double beds en 2 bedrooms with single beds. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are big enough for extra matrasses which are available. There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet on the first floor. Our kitchen is fully equiped and we have a comfortable and big living room. There is a front garden and a garden at the back where you can sit and eat, play or hang your laundry. We have all ammenities, lots of toys, kids gear, a car which can be swapped and of course bikes for you to use (including ones for kids).
Amsterdam has a lot to offer. Architecture, museums, markets, parks, canals and so much more. We live on the north side which means you can be in the old city centre in a 20 minute walk, be at the central station in 8 minutes by bus or metro to take a train in any direction of Europe or be in the countryside in a 15 minute bike ride. And Amsterdam-North has many attractions itself. So our place is really ideal for all activities!

Our Neighbourhood
Nearest Airport: Schiphol Airport - 30 km
It is Amsterdam, where there is always something to do! The red light district; Anne Frank House; Grachten, Museums and all the other attractions a big city has to offer.
Amsterdam-North in itself has also many attractions, see for example (see http://www.ilovenoord.com/ and http://www.topamsterdam.nl/en/#/en/thema/things-to-do/). And from our place it is also easy to get out of the city and head for the country side if you want some peace and quite.

About Our Family
Us
We are a couple, Esther-Rina and Björn , of social scientists and we like to see the world and show it to our children. ER works as a civil servant for the city of Amsterdam and Bjorn is a teacher and coach. We have three daughters : Chaia, Nico and Elfi. Bjorn and me love to travel and have found that swapping houses is the best way to do this with three little kids. We have done swaps before and have really enjoyed it. We even did a mega swap by swapping the house we live in now. So we have got some good references if you would like them
Lifestyle
We love to travel and would like our children to see more of the world. Swapping has given us a great insight in the lives of other people, teaches our children that not everything is about money and has made our holidays so much more fun.
